QStar's HSM Offers Upgrade Path For IBM's OLM Customers

IBM Corporation and QStar Technologies, the leading provider of Storage Management Software, have joined forces to provide a unique Upgrade Path in the UNIX market for IBM OLM users wanting to upgrade to AIX 4.1.5 and 4.2.
This exclusive software package not only makes it possible to access previously written OLM data on the current AIX releases, but it also turns the optical library into a blazingly fast archive and retrieval resource for the entire network.
The product in this announcement is available through the program supplier, QStar Technologies, Inc. Intended Customers IBM's OLM customers operating in a RISC 6000 AIX 3.2.5 environment and needing to upgrade to AIX 4.1.5 or 4.2.
Although this package is tailored for users who have OLM generated optical media, any customer with AIX 4.1.5 or 4.2 and an IBM 3995 Jukebox can use it.
