Permabit’s Permeon™ Compliance Store, combined with QStar’s Data Director™, extends the functionality of an archive environment through the addition of real-time synchronous mirroring, allowing users to write archive data to both tape and a system-independent disk format, lowering TCO while improving both data security and portability for disaster recovery and compliance purposes. The joint solution also provides hot standby capabilities, a transaction logging cache, event-based mirroring, automatic re-synchronization of data and load balancing.
