QStar Technologies Appoints James Wheeler as Director of Marketing and Business Development and expands presence in North America

QStar Technologies, today announced the appointment of James Wheeler as Director of Marketing and Business Development to strengthen activities in the rapidly expanding North American operations as well as taking on World Wide marketing responsibilities. James Wheeler will reside in California and brings over ten years of computer storage and archiving experience in various fields such as channels marketing, distribution sales, VAR partnering, major OEM and strategic accounts management.
"Jim is a key addition to our management and will significantly strengthen QStar’s executive team,” said Riccardo Finotti, President. “Jim brings rich storage and computer-industry expertise to his role at QStar, and he will head all marketing programs and activities. I am confident Jim's expertise and knowledge of the archive storage market will play a significant role in growing our presence in the market."
James Wheeler has previously served in various management positions with companies like Pegasus Disk Technologies as Director of Market Development, Sony Electronics in both Marketing Management and Key Account Sales in the OEM Integrated Storage Products Division, and at MaxOptix Corporation as the Director of Product Marketing. Wheeler's educational credentials include a bachelor’s degree in Information System Management from the University of San Francisco, California.
